Bathroom Fitting Checklist

Posted on

OK, so you’ve decided to take the plunge, the tarnished taps and dated tub have convinced you that it’s time for something fresh.  Sounds like a big task right? What do you choose to have in your dream bathroom?

Firstly, what do you need?

Have a think about what you need in a bathroom, that way you can cross off easy decisions such as: do you want a wet room?  How about a bath? Two basins to cut down on the queue for the bathroom in the morning? Knowing these things before planning will make things easier.

Look in a showroom

Seeing the possibilities on display is vastly different than from within a catalogue.  Take measurements of your bathroom and have a think about what you want. By going into a showroom, such as ours in Cheshunt, you will be able to have a conversation with someone who could advise on what would suit.

At The Cheshunt Bathroom Centre we have creative designers who will help you make sure your bathroom is exactly what you need.

Be realistic

As much as you may want a clawed free-standing bath, it may not be possible in your current bathroom space.  You may need to consider storage solutions such as towel racks, cabinets, etc., to make the most of the space you have.

Completing the look

Once you have chosen your bathroom suite, and arranged the fitting, it might be worth having a browse for bathroom accessories.  Owning towels that coordinate with the bathroom colours, or a mirror that adds to the modern feeling, can really polish off the feel of the bathroom.
